I sewed the handles on and a bead in the center of the flower. It took me some time to get it right because it bunched up on one side and I made stitches too tight. I free handed the attachment of the zipper, so it would stay straight and even. I made 36 rows and single stitched the ends together. I don’t have a sewing machine, so I tend to star away from projects that include lining and machine sewing a zipper. If I put a loose pen in my purse or change, it won’t fall out.
